Back in August 2016 Equestrian ID ran a Facebook Competition to Win a Website… the tension was mounting by the end of the month, finally the time arrived for the draw and Hope Pasture’s name was pulled out of the hat. We soon began working with Kim and Philip from the charity to see how we could really lift their on-line profile with a brand new GOLD responsive website designed and built by Equestrian ID.
Hope Pastures have been rescuing and re-homing equines since 1974. They rescue, rehabilitate and re-home horses, ponies and donkeys. They also provide the opportunity for people to meet the animals and learn how to look after them and do you know what, they spend 95p of every £1 you donate directly on the animals, making donations work harder to help rescue and re-home more horses, ponies and donkeys.
Hope Pastures have a highly committed team of staff, trustees and over 100 dedicated volunteers, all of whom contribute to helping the animals, whether mucking out, running our visitor centre, helping with group visits, mending fences or supporting events and shows. They have been a fantastic charity to work with so when Kim shared the great news that Hope Pastures had been chosen as the Bramham International Horse Trials Official Charity for 2017, it went without saying that we were going to make sure that the new website would be ready for the event.
Take a look at the new website and let us know what you think… our aim was to make the whole experience of navigating around the website so much easier. Immediately you can view horses and ponies up for adoption, gifts available for the ponies and most importantly making it very easy for the browser to make a donation to this fantastic charity. The main hero images immediately give a feel of the warmth that Hope Pastures offers although in some instances you see the desperate struggle that some of the horses, ponies and donkey’s have faced before being rescued by Hope Pastures.
We have loved working with the Hope Pastures team and we look forward to working alongside them in the future.
