Sarah Webb

Graphic and Website Design

I started out working with horses, turning my lifelong equestrian passion into a career, and doing everything from mucking out to breaking in youngsters.

However, I soon realised that as much as I loved it, I just couldn’t earn a living and so I went travelling whilst I decided what to do with my future.

When I came back to the UK I was lucky enough to find a boss that recognised a talent in the doodles I was drawing when I should have been working.

A night school course and DipHE in Graphic Design later and that was it... I haven’t looked back!

In 2006 I took the leap, became a freelancer, and my client base soon grew to me offering graphic design and website services up and down the country.

After having clients from a variety of industries including marketing agencies, schools, civil engineers, hotels, food manufacturers, and of course equestrian services, I saw there was a gap in the equestrian market for high quality website and graphic design services.

So I teamed up with Emma, who is the website development whizz, and Equestrian ID was born!

Website Development

I started designing websites at the age of 14 and what was originally a hobby has turned into a career that I’m passionate about.

After four years of hard study I landed my first professional website design job at the age of 20 and from there I moved on to work for three different website design companies. Then it was time to stand on my own two feet and become a freelancer!

I love meeting new clients and really getting to grips with what makes their businesses work and what they’re looking for their website to achieve.

As a freelance website developer the hours can sometimes be long, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m three years into my freelance career and thrilled that working for myself has given me the opportunity to nurture my skills.

Working with Sarah is great. Although I’m not equestrian (I do live overlooking a field of horses though) I can really see that the equestrian industry needs a one-stop-shop for their graphic design and website needs, and I hope that our clients think Equestrian ID delivers this.

How we work

Equestrian ID prides itself on adopting a different approach for each customer so you’ll get a tailored experience that best fits your needs. Our five step approach model is easily varied to ensure that we fit in with your process, not the other way around.

1. We listen, and we learn. The first step is to find out exactly what you need. We’ll get to know your organisation and how you like to operate. Getting to know you helps us to understand the project in your own words so we can complete it in the way you imagined.
2. We research. The second step is to take a close look at your company, niche, market, customers, and competition. A full, detailed assessment enables us to provide targeted, innovative, and useful proposals – we’re not just creative!
3. We present. Before the real work begins we present our proposals to demonstrate exactly how they fit your brief. Our extensive industry experience will give you a competitive edge and we’ll be able to suggest options that you may not have previously considered.
4. We launch. Possibly the most complicated part of any project, but certainly the most rewarding, is the launch. By keeping you in the loop every step of the way you’ll be part of the process and will be able to clearly see your progress.
5. We support you. After the launch we don’t just disappear. We aim to develop on-going relationships with our clients so that we can help you should things go wrong. The Equestrian ID Support Package is designed to deal with technical glitches, so you don’t have to.
